33RD NATIONAL MILO MARATHON IS SET ON SEPT. 6 AT SAN PABLO CITY

San Pablo City- All roads is set to the City of Seven Lakes this coming September 6, 2009 for the 33rd National Milo Marathon Elimination Race. City Mayor Vicente Amante will fire up the starting gun at 5:30 A.M. to signal the 21-K Run. While the 10-K Run, 5-K Fun Run and the 3-K Kiddie Run will kick-off at 6:00 A.M. Starting point will be at the Trese Martires St. going to Mabini Extension and around the Horseshoe Area.

More than 5,000 runners from the area and other adjoining cities and municipalities will be expected to join this prestigious event, according to City Sports Development Officer Emerson Alcos. Champions will receive P10,000 (21-K run), P5,000 (10-K run), P2,500 (5-K run) and P1,500 (3-K run). Runner-ups, 3rd to 10th placers also gets cash prizes. All winners will also get trophy/medal and a Certificate of Finish.

A non-refundable entry fee of P100 (21K & 10-K), P40 (5-K) and P30 (3-K) and 1 Milo Label (minimum of 300g) must accompany the accomplished/signed official entry form. All runners will receive their T-Shirt upon registration and submission of 300g Milo Pack.

Registration is on a first come first served basis. Entry form of participants below 18 y/o and children who are 7-12 y/o on Race Day must be signed by a parent/guardian. Children must also submit a photocopy of their birth certificate or school ID.
