ER EJERCITO TOPS SURVEY AS LAGUNA GOVERNOR, CONG. FERNANDEZ, CHIPECO, ARAGO AND SAN LUIS WINNING A WIDE MARGIN

Pagsanjan Mayor E.R Ejercito has beaten his opponents in the provincial governorship race in the latest monthly pulse reading done on August 1-8, while all incumbent congressmen have left their nearest rival by a wide margin in the same study dubbed as Project PES-Laguna Survey.

In the results that have yet to be published in a provincial newspaper from which TRIBUNE POST was able to obtain a copy, Ejercito got 35%, from respondents from the question, “If the election of May 2010 were to be held today and the following persons were candidates for LAGUNA GOVERNOR who among them would you vote for?”, followed by nearest opponents 24%, 19% and 14% respectively. Two more though without intention of running also scored.

It’s not clear how many respondents were survey but results stated that it was done province wide as it covered four congressional districts with corresponding statistical data for congressmen and board members of Sangguniang Panlalawigan hopefuls

Voters preference for Laguna representatives showed that in First district Dan Fernandez got 67% over his nearest rivals 21% and 12%, Second District Justin Chipeco lording over with 69% to opponents 30% with 1% undecided.

Meanwhile at Third District, Ivy Arago has 75% beating all her rivals by wide margin who got 11%, 8%, 5%, with 1% still undecided and at Fourth District Edgar San Luis with a comportable 63% over his rivals 33% and 2% respectively with 3% undecided.

Those at the winning circle at the provincial board were as follows: First District-Emil Tiongco, Gat-ala Alatiit, and Carlo Almoro: Second District Juan Unico, Susano Tapia, and Eduardo Silva: Third District Minabo “Boyet” Bueser and Rey Paras: Fourth District Bong Palacol and Jeffrey “Leandro” Baldemor. Two incumbent board members were out at the winning circle placing fifth and sixth respectively.

Margin of error was not specified nor the methodology used in the documents obtained by this newspaper.
