JCI SAN PABLO 7 LAKES 13TH KABYAW PARA SA KALIKASAN KICK-OFF ON SEPT. 13

San Pablo City- To promote environmental awareness and develop sportsmanship thru cycling, JCI San Pablo (Jaycees) will be holding its 13th Kabyaw 2009 (Kabyaw Para sa Kalikasan) on Sunday, Sept, 13, 2009 at 6:00 a.m. at Dona Leonila Park. Participants in this annual mountain bike race are amateur cyclists from all over the country.

According to JCI Mem. Jose Agoncillo, Jr., 2009 Chapter Pres., they are expecting 100 bikers for the Open (20-30 y/o), Age (31-40 y/o) and Executive (40 y/o and above) Categories. Cash prizes, trophies and medals at are stake for this bike race. Marshall for the said event is the radio group Kabalikat Com.

City Administrator Loreto Amante as a JCI member, also requested the different local departments to assist in the foregoing event. They requested the support of the City Health Office and Phil. Nat’l Red Cross-SPC Chapter for medical assistance; PNP and PSAF for peace and order and security purposes, Association of Barangay Chairman for other assistance, City Tourism and Information Offices for information dessimination.
