SOLCOM SAYS THANKS TO CALABARZON MEDIA

Camp Guillermo Nakar – The Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) honored the Calabarzon Media Practitioners in a fitting ceremony during a get together held at its Officers’ Club here recently.

SOLCOM commanding officer Lt. Gen. Delfin Bangit was a ,perfect host as he thanked about 60 journalists of the region who called on his office on the duration of AFP’s unitary Suspension of Military Operatin (SUMO) through out the country, in relation for the observance of yuletide seson.

Speaking before media personalities, Gen. Bangit expounds the lesson on humility the reason he treats his subordinates not as a soldier but as a Christian. The value of human lives came first and foremost in realizing greatest and genuine love.

Assisting the Solcom Chief during the affair were Solcom Chief of Staff Col. Glenn Macasero, Lt. Cols. Rolando Manalo and Antonio Villamin, Capt. Leah L. Santiago, Lt. Gemina Ramos and other non-commissioned officers of the command.

The guests includes local and national journalists covering the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon (CALABARZON) representing Tri-Media group of print and broadcast networks.(NANI CORTEZ/Pres. Seven Lakes Press Corps)
