San Pablo City, Laguna - Laguna Vice-Governor Caesar Perez and San Pablo City Vice-Mayor Angie Yang assisted by SM City San Pablo mall manager Gabriel Timothy Exconde and Odessa Galicia flagged up the signal to start grand Christmas celebration simultaneously with 40 other SM Malls throughout the country last Saturday, November 6 here.
With 48 more days before Christmas, the grand launch flares up the tradition among Filipinos on having the longest Christmas celebration in the world, the readiness of every SM Mall to act as venue and the hospitality of SM City San Pablo in particular to share and join the festivities.
As Christmas means love, caring and understanding, Timothy and Odessa distributed gifts to school children in coordination with Department of Social Welfare and Development, teachers and respective parents.
Also in attendance during the grand Christmas launch were Councilors Arnel Ticzon, RD Diaz, Gel Adriano and Ed Dizon, with other city officials Paud Cuadra and Mon de Roma. The occasion was also graced by Lt. Nenet Omamdam of 202 Bde, businessmen and media partners invited by Public Relations Officers Keno Moreno. (NANI CORTEZ)
